One of the strangest 80′s songs is Rock Me Amadeus by German band Falco. A sort of hip-hop new wave rap tune written in German about a classical composer (Mozart). Only in the 80′s could this one hit wonder top the charts with a song like this… 1986 to be exact.

Gloria Loring and Carl Anderson’s beautiful duet Friends and Lovers. Carl is best known for his role as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar while Loring from her role on Days of Our Lives. Carl joined Gloria in a 1986 episode of Days where they sang the duet which led to it becoming each’s only pop hit.
