Need You Tonight/Mediate by Inxs won the MTV Video of the Year Award for 1987.  The songs were from Inxs’ Kick album.  The Mediate part of the video is a tribute to the video for Bob Dylan’s Subterranean Homesick Blues. The song was Inxs’s only number one hit.
