New Kids on the Block’s ballad I’ll Be Loving You (Forever) from their Hangin’ Tough album spent pretty much the entire summer of 1989 in the top 40. NKOTB’s ballad boasted 6 weeks in the Top 10, 8 weeks in the Top 20, and 14 weeks in the Top 40. It seems folks back in 1989 were loving I’ll Be Loving You (Forever).
