George Michael has stated in an interview that Everything She Wants is his favorite Wham! song. The song went to #1 in May of 1985 and appears on Wham!’s Make it Big album where it was their third chart topper from that album.

George Michael’s I Want Your Sex appears on both his Faith album as well as the soundtrack to Beverly Hills Cop II. Despite it’s controversial lyrics and subject matter, the song was a huge hit in the summer of 1987, staying in the top forty for fourteen weeks. Throughout that whole time Casey Kasem refused to announce the name of the song; only its artist.

An all-star 80′s cast came together as Band Aid to raise money for the crisis in Ethiopa. Some of the stars singing on this Christmas classic were: Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Paul Young, Culture Club, George Michael of Wham!, Kool and the Gang, Sting, Bono and Adam Clayton of U2, Phil Collins, Jody Watley of Shalamar, Bananarama, David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Christopher Cross. The song was written and produced by Bob Geldof. Great lyrics and melodies make this one of the all time great Christmas songs: Feed the world. Let them know it’s Christmas time again.
