Susanna Hoffs and the The Bangles reached the top spot in the charts in 1989 with Eternal Flame. Unlike their other hits, this was a slow ballad. Did you know: Eternal Flame was produced by American Idol’s Simon Cowell (presumably while he wore a v-neck sweater).
